Physical properties

NBR is the oil resistance elastomer. The resistance of oil depends on the proportion of acrylonitrile in the rubber. decreasing low temperature flexibility, increasing compression set, gas permeability, improved heat ageing and ozone resistance, improved tensile and abrasion strength, hardness and density.

  • GENERAL TEMPERATURE RANGE: -40°F to +225°F

    • petroleum oils
    • water (up to 212F)
    • Salt
    • Alkali solutions
    • weak acids
  • Not Recommended for:
    • aromatic fuels
    • strong acids
    • glycols
    • ozone
    • polar solvents
